Booking Terms
Please read our booking terms before confirming your stay. They explain payment arrangements, cancellations, guest numbers, bringing dogs, arrival and departure times, and responsibilities during your stay. If anything is unclear, we’re always happy to help. Pennar Isaf — Direct Booking Terms and Conditions Please read these terms before confirming your booking. If you have any questions, we’re always happy to help: pennarisaf@gmail.com. 1. Your booking These terms apply to bookings made directly with Pennar Isaf. Your booking is confirmed when the required payment has been received and we have sent your booking confirmation. Please check your dates, guest numbers and pets carefully and let us know promptly if anything is incorrect. The lead guest must be aged 18 or over and is responsible for ensuring everyone in the party follows these terms. 2. Payment For bookings made more than 30 days before check-in, a 30% deposit is payable when booking. The remaining 70% balance is due 30 days before check-in. For bookings made 30 days or fewer before check-in, the full booking price is payable when booking. If you have difficulty paying the balance on time, please contact us immediately. We will contact you before cancelling a booking for non-payment. Any cancellation charges will follow the cancellation terms below. 3. Prices and guest numbers The accommodation price includes cleaning and covers up to four guests sleeping in the two bedrooms. For bookings of five or six guests, the living-room sofa bed is provided. Guests five and six are charged £15 per additional guest, per night. The sofa bed is not automatically included in bookings for four guests or fewer. Maximum occupancy is six guests in total, including adults and children sleeping in beds or on the sofa bed. One additional infant sleeping in a cot is welcome free of charge and does not count towards the six-person limit. A cot and highchair are available on request. All overnight guests must be included in the booking. Please agree any changes to guest numbers with us before arrival. 4. Cancellations and refunds A £20 cancellation administration charge applies when you cancel your booking, whether more or less than 30 days before check-in. It covers administration and unrecoverable payment-processing costs and will not exceed our reasonable actual cancellation costs. If you cancel at least 30 days before your scheduled check-in time, we will refund all payments made, less the cancellation administration charge. If you cancel fewer than 30 days before check-in, there is no automatic refund. Cancellation charges may include lost accommodation income and the administration charge, but the total will not exceed the full booking price or our actual loss. Whenever you cancel, we will make reasonable efforts to re-let the dates. If we secure a replacement booking or save costs, we will account for this and refund any amount above our actual loss. The administration charge includes payment-processing costs; these will not be deducted separately or charged twice. Please cancel through your booking-management link, where available, or email pennarisaf@gmail.com. The notice period is calculated from when we receive your cancellation to your scheduled check-in time, using UK local time. Any refund will normally be returned to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available. 5. Travel insurance and inability to travel We strongly recommend taking out suitable travel insurance when you book, including cover for cancellation, illness, severe weather and travel disruption. Please check that your policy covers UK holidays, your whole party and your particular circumstances. Insurance cover varies, and not all policies cover every type of disruption. If the cottage remains available for your booked stay but you cannot travel because of weather, transport cancellations, road disruption or other personal circumstances, this does not entitle you to a refund outside the cancellation terms above. The same applies to late arrival or an early departure for these reasons. If we cannot provide the accommodation, section 6 applies. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights. 6. If we need to cancel If we cannot provide the accommodation and have to cancel your booking, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund all payments made. No cancellation administration charge will apply when we cancel your booking. 7. Changes to your booking Please contact us if you wish to change your dates, guest numbers or pets. Changes depend on availability and our agreement, and may affect the price. Your original booking remains in place until we confirm any changes in writing. 8. Arrival and departure Check-in is from 4pm on your arrival date. Please leave by 10am on your departure date. Early arrival or late departure must be agreed with us in advance. 9. Dogs and other pets Dogs are welcome at £15 per dog, per stay. Up to four dogs can be included in an online booking. Please contact us before booking if you wish to bring more. All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations, worming and flea treatments. You may be asked to provide confirmation before arrival. Dogs must not be left alone in the cottage at any time. Please supervise them, clean up after them and dispose of their waste in the provided bin. Dogs are not permitted on beds. Please use the provided throws whenever dogs are on the sofas. Please prevent damage or disturbance. Although the garden is enclosed, please check that it is suitable for your dog and supervise them outdoors. Other pets, including cats, may be accepted by prior arrangement. Please contact us before booking so we can discuss their needs and confirm any applicable charge. Only pets agreed with us in advance may stay at the cottage. Please follow any pet-care instructions supplied for the cottage and check local beach restrictions before visiting. 10. Looking after the cottage Please treat the cottage, furnishings and garden with care and leave them reasonably clean and tidy. Normal changeover cleaning is included in your accommodation price; there is no separate standard cleaning charge. Please tell us promptly about any damage, breakages or faults. Where damage or exceptional cleaning results from your party’s actions, we may seek reasonable, evidenced costs. We will discuss these with you and allow for fair wear and tear. We do not routinely take a damage deposit. However, you remain responsible for the reasonable, evidenced cost of repairing damage, replacing missing or broken items, or carrying out exceptional cleaning caused by your party, beyond fair wear and tear. We will contact you promptly, provide details of the issue and discuss any proposed charge with you before seeking payment. We will not charge for ordinary wear and tear or minor accidental damage that does not result in a reasonable cost. Please respect our neighbours and avoid excessive noise or behaviour that causes disturbance. Parties and events are not permitted. Commercial photography and filming are not permitted. Smoking and vaping are not permitted indoors. Electric vehicle charging from the cottage’s electricity supply is not permitted. Please contact us for information about local charging facilities. Anyone found charging an electric vehicle from the cottage may be asked to leave and may be charged the reasonable, evidenced cost of electricity used. 11. Access and suitability Pennar Isaf is on one level, with a gently sloping ramp from the parking area to the cottage. Guests’ accessibility needs vary. Please contact us before booking if you need measurements or information about entrances, doorways, bathroom facilities or other features so you can decide whether the cottage meets your needs. 12. Problems during your stay If anything is wrong or you need assistance, please contact us as soon as possible so we have an opportunity to help. Please report any unresolved concerns promptly and provide details of the problem. 13. Responsibilities and liability Please take reasonable care of your belongings and supervise children and pets throughout your stay. We are responsible for losses caused by our breach of these terms or negligence where the law makes us responsible. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
